Michael graduated from RMIT with a double degree in Bachelor of Health Science and Applied Science in Chiropractic. Over the course of his studies, he developed a keen interest in treating chronic pain and movement dysfunction.

Michael uses a sustainable, Evidence-Based and active care approach to healthcare which includes a combination of manual therapies including massage, practitioner assisted stretching and spinal adjustment with the goal of reducing pain and improving function. Rehabilitative exercise is then used to improve strength, endurance and function of the problematic areas. Such approach can improve our ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), reduce pain, reduce injury risk and improve performance in physical endeavours.

Pain Conditions We Treat

Our evidence based approach is sustainable with a focus on active as opposed to passive/dependent care. Its advantage is that it can increase independence, self-care and fitness.

Frequently Asked Questions

What complaints can you help with?

Traditionally chiropractors have been associated with primarily being able to treat spinal pain. At Motion Chiropractic we treat a variety of areas including shoulder, arm, wrist and hip, knee, ankle and foot pain. We are not limited to the spine.

Are your appointments covered under private health insurance or Medicare?

Private health insurance coverage depends on your insurance plan and this is something that you will have to check with your insurance company for.

Chiropractic care can be funded through Medicare under a Team Care Arrangement (TCA) or chronic disease management plan. However this will require permission and referral by your General Practitioner. For more information please visit
